"Growing vegetables is boring… Let’s play in the fields!"

みなさんは自分が食べるものを自分で育てた経験がありますか？毎日食べる小麦や米や野菜を誰がどのように育てて食品にしているか知っていますか？それを知らずに口にするのは不安ではないでしょうか？…そんな都市生活を送るみなさんに農園エンターテインメント「農園地」をご提案します。
Presentation Overview
Have you ever grown any of the food on your plate by yourself? Do you know who actually grew the wheat, rice, and vegetables you eat every day, or how you were even able to buy them? Haven't you ever felt uneasy about eating things you don’t really know? Most of us in the city can't answer these questions, so allow me to present to you "The Amusing World of Agriculture"!
経歴
大学時代、探検部に所属しアマゾン・旧ユーゴスラビア諸国などを放浪。卒業後TVディレクターとして「所さんの目がテン！」「しゃべり場」などを制作し、30歳で農業に転職。法人による大規模農場にて修行ののち、都市農業の世界へ飛び込む。2014年㈱農天気設立 し、東京・国立市を拠点に畑婚活・田んぼどろんこイベント・野菜栽培マニュアルDVD制作など幅広い農エンタメを提供。
Biography
During his college years, he was very active in the outdoors club; he travelled to the Amazon, Yugoslavia, and other various countries. After graduation, he became a TV director working on TV shows such as “Tokoro-san no Me ga Ten (George Tokoro is Stunned!)” and “Shinken 10-dai Shaberiba (Serious Teens Debates)” until he turned 30, when he switched careers to become a farmer. Training for large-scale governmental production, he entered the world of urban agriculture. In 2014, he established a company, Noutenki, based in Kunitachi, Tokyo to create agriculture-themed events and media such as rent-a-farm programs, mud events for children to play in rice paddies, and DVD manuals for vegetable cultivation.
